Kanaka Creek is a long corridir of protected land that stretches almost 7 miles inland from the Fraser River. To explore the park by canoe or kayak, head for the car-top boat lunch in a section of the park located near Kanaka and Fraser's confluence.

The focal point
of Kanaka Creek Regional Park is the falls, a spectacular water canyon popular as a picnic spot. The Canyon Trail offers a treasure trove of natural wonders in a short distance. Nursery logs, sword ferns, towering Cedar, Hemlock and Douglas fir trees serve as a backdrop for the tumbling and cascading creek. Intriguing water-sculpted rock and sandstone formations are visible on both branches of the creek. Because of the precipitous cliffs, it is absolutely essential to follow the directional signs and not to stray beyond marked boundaries on any part of the Cliff Falls trail system. see website
